Für meinen amd 1. Ich Habe gebacken "madeleine" cookies.
A madeleine cookie is a french orange cookie. I've been wanting for a good excuse to make them and so I took advantage of this opportunity. I searched the internet until I found a website in German that had the recipe. It took a little while but I finally found it here.
I checked a few things with the recipe I had in English to make sure that I was making edible cookies. But overall it was a success, although it did take me about twice as long to make. The one thing that was confusing was the temperature of the oven. Was it just a straight conversion from Celsius to Fahrenheit? Therefore I found myself checking how the cookies looked a lot more frequently than I normally would.
But after it was all done, they turned out great ( according to my roommates of course ).
(unfortunately I didn't have a sifter so the powdered sugar doesn't look as pretty as it's suppose too sorry! )
