"Welcome to America. Take a number" describes many of our systems all too well. A reason many people see Americans as ignorant is because people here expect things that are ran by the government to be perfect, yet no one wants to pay for it. We want all these services to ran by the government, yet some push for smalle government all the time. I for one am a socialist, and if i lived in Germany, would support the Social Democratic Party. As stated from the article Malte Lehming "Europe’s bureaucratic nightmares have nothing on America’s.", I believe that this comes from the fact that with higher taxes, the goverment can do a better job at doing its job. With a bigger government, there wouldn't be such drastic differences in how services are ran from state to state. Simply put, if we put more in, we could expect better output.
